The issue is that after a certain point in the late 20s, the show just comes to a standstill. It only moves again in the final 3 episodes, but then you get a bunch of rushed resolutions in spite of some stuff previously dragging on for a long time. Maybe the slow episodes won't be that bad if you're watching all at once, but the ending likely still will be underwhelming.

He vanished for 10 episodes entirely. Episodes 29 to 38 are all written by other writers. He then comes back to write 6 episodes (39-40, 47-50). That's altogether 16 episodes of absence in just that block alone. BEFORE those, he also missed another 10. That's 26 episodes. (For comparison, Sanjo of Drive the show before was only a total 19 episodes absence). And of all those things, he didn't write Movie Wars Genesis which resulted in a very obvious dissonance between both the show and the movie, particularly Ryu's death. Most writer absences are generally sparse, usually just them vanishing every now and then and letting other writers handle a couple two-parters before moving on. Fucker vanished during the 30s, which is typically when most Rider shows sort of get plot heavy, having the fill-in guys Hasegawa and Mouri handle it in his place, which makes an even stronger and more jarring dissonance.

Faiz? Literally every episode was written by Inoue. First 1:1 ratio of writer:episode so far.

Ryuki? If Kobayashi didn't write the episode, Inoue did.

Agito? Same as Ryuki, just with Inoue being the primary writer!

Kuuga? Big mixed pot, mainly of Arakawa and Inoue. Bits of Kida and others in there as well. Biggest mixed pot, more writers on it than Ghost, but stronger frequency of Arakawa episodes for the most part.

I just did some googling on it. Nakashima wrote 22 out of 48 episodes. of those episodes, he did 1-6, 11-12, 17-18, 21-22, 27-28, 33-34, 41-42, and 45-48 (7-10, 13-16, 19-20, 25-26, 31-32, 37-38, and 43-44, was Sanjo; 23-24, 29-30, 35-36, 39-40, was Hasegawa). Why the fuck is Koyomi so absent in Wizard? I know she doesn't really have shit to do in most episodes but she's the main girl. I expected her to get more screen time. It's reminding me of Kabuto. The worlds are fusing due to "someone" building bridges between them, and in the movie it's revealed that the person who built the bridges was Decade himself.
