I'm interested in the Tomino kill em' all aspect of Victory but I don't want to go through another slog like Zeta where 90% of the show is stale fight after stale fight. I can handle every episode having fights but are they at least interesting/fun to watch in Victory?
pls respond
If you hated Tomino-isms before, Victory isn't going to change your mind.
The fights would redeem the show, if they were shaded consistently. As is, Victory is okay at best.
While Victory has a higher proportion of fights involving weird/interesting/unique choreography, you might still get bored anyway.
I'll post some webms, maybe they'll interest you.

Post the bikini babes one lol.
>>14734913
Sure thing, senpai.
>>14734915
>>14734909
How the fuck did that work and why was it never used again?
>>14734596
Does Uso only get the one shirtless/nude scene?
>>14734992
Uso figured out that the plasma in beam shields and sabres can be manipulated to merge with each other.
I assume the improvised beam boomerang traveled in a curve because the uneven weight of the beam sabre hilts caused it to do that, but fuck if I know anything about physics in space.
>>14734915
Im really curious how well that plan was received when it was pitched
>>14735037
You got the one where Uso somehow combines his beam saber with Marbet's beam wires into some colossal beam fan?
>>14735049
I don't remember that, what episode was it? Marbet had that Zoloat in the first space arc, so I want to guess it would be somewhere around episode 15 to 30.
>>14735053
Found it. Episode 19, 19:30-20:00. It was with Tomache, not Marbet, and upon rewatching it I still have no fucking idea what Uso and Tomache did there.
>>14735123
I think they caused some kind of reaction between the electrified strings and the beam shield, making it into a giant glowing distraction so he could land hits on the enemy Zoloats.
>>14735155
So the yellow spinning beam fan thing that allowed Uso to flash step was Tomache creating an illusion by spinning the shield/wires in front of the Victory?
>>14735174
Pretty much, but it looks like the Victory was the one spinning the beam strings.
Victory has the best fight out of any TV series.
>>14735187
Usso is a God of War holy shit
>>14734992
>what is "beam confuse" in Zeta?
>>14734596
Watch Ideon Be Invoked instead if you just want to see people die.
Victory is a cheap looking show but the fight choreography is great.
>>14734596
Maybe if you watched it like you clearly didn't with Zeta you'd like it.
>>14734918
>that moment of GOAT shading at the end
man if Victory had constant shading it would've been pure /m/K I N O
>>14735038
The idea was to disorient Uso by having such an irrational thing happening, to make him think he's dreaming or something.
It works, but that doesn't actually slow his reflexes or weaken his beam saber, so...
>>14734596
Thunderbolt, man.
It's short and not a Tomino, but it's good.
didn't Uso actually pilot in simulations before the series started? maybe that's the reason he can hold himself better in a fight, y'know with less relience on newtype bullshit
>>14734915
>Mons Pubis
>>14737048
Yes he did.
All he did was read about shit on the computer and run simulators.
>>14737040
Thunderbolt, man.
It's short and not a Tomino, and it's bad.
>>14737100
>it's bad
Shit taste, anon.

This looks amazing, is this really a still from the show?
>>14737315
It is, look at episode 49.
