I'm starting Dougram thanks to all the talk about it on /m/.
I'm liking it so far, but will Crinn ever get "THE TLUCE" the episode previews mention?
>>14715947
It's not really just for Crinn, but yes.
With time everyone gets the trooth. I'm really glad more people are watching Dougram.
Fight! Dougram to save independency of the Deloyer.
>>14715947
he gets on the juice
>>14715976
I bet the gyms on Deloyer are pretty great.
>>14715987
maybe it's a gravity constant type thing.
>>14715976
So Dougram is actually a story about Crinn's quest to get ripped, and this "tluce" the sreviews mention is actual "juice", as in steroids?
Now everything makes more sense.
>>14715947
I'll tell you what he doesn't get.Justice.
>>14716049
The truth hurts.
Will we wlever get rips that aren't total shit? ;_;
>>14715995
He lost the shirt for a reason
>>14715961
Best combat armour
>>14717163
I'm partial to the Blockhead, myself.
Speaking of, that Bushman model should be out next month.
Truth sucks
>>14717083
not even blurays, just laserdisc
>>14717173
>that one episode where Crinn shoots the blockhead while the two pilots are still climbing to get in and start it up
Fucking hardcore.
>>14717183
I more fondly remember the big scene where Rick air-dropped Blockheads to cut down the rebels when they got all riled up and tried to seize the capital of Palmina.
Also the part where that one Blockhead crew managed to survive long enough to try and hunt down the FoTS for revenge, even while they were in the mines of Palmina.
>>14717191
>Also the part where that one Blockhead crew managed to survive long enough to try and hunt down the FoTS for revenge
Oh man, that was sad. It's like a horror movie where you're telling the teenagers to run away before it's too late, and in this case Crinn is the monster.
>>14715947SAIKOOOOO DAAAAAA
GLIDER ON!
SOLTIC GO!
>>14717196
That's a new way of putting it. For me, the moment like that would have to be the part where the FoTS attacks the radio outpost headed by an old man. Was that scene the Crab Gunner's last hurrah?
>>14717224
That's another sad scene. The feddies just wanted to obey their orders and make a last stand.
I also love the grappling in this show. Like when Crinn grabbed a crab gunner by the turret and then sumo flipped it over his shoulder.
>>14717173
Are the models good? I'm interested in getting the Revoltech Dougram and Soltic, but with the other Combat Armors I don't have a lot of choices except for the recent models.
>>14717317
I have the first one (Dougram).
It's decent but overpriced compared to a HG.
For 3000 yens you get something that could be around 1000 yen if it was a HG. And it also feels a little cheap and hard to pose.
I don't regret getting it, but I wouldn't seek the whole collection unless it improves.
>>14717317
The Max Factory ones are mostly okay.
As >>14717336 mentions they're basically $30+ HGs. The Bog standard Soltic and Dougram also have a reputation for shoulders that pop out easy.
Later releases seem not to have those problems.
>>14717347
>The Bog standard Soltic and Dougram also have a reputation for shoulders that pop out easy.
Guess I was justified in wanting the Revoltech Dougram and Soltic then. I'll get the Revoltechs, then snag a kit or two of a design that I like.
The price for the kits is pretty bad for what is basically an HG (and not the latest HGs either), but I can deal with it.
>tfw about to watch dougram
>Already watching l gaim and layzner on the side
This probably isn't a good idea.
>>14717176
What if it turned out the truth Crinn was looking for was Truth and Dougram suddenly turned into a copy of E7 AO after Truth arrived?
>>14717362
Finish the others first then.
>>14717206
SORA NI
SOBIERUUU
Why is the Soltic sometimes called the Roundfacer? Alternate name, really weird mistranslation, error in a guidebook, whatever?
>>14717417
Alternate name, but also because Soltic is technically the company that produces the Roundfacer.
That's why its full name is Soltic H8 Roundafcer. The Blockhead is the Abitate T10B/C Blockhead, the Ironfoot is the Hasty F4X Ironfoot, etc. etc. The Bushman is a Soltic product, but people call it the Bushman.
It's like calling a car by Ford a Ford, it technically has its own name but everyone just calls it a Ford. The Soltic, being as common as it is, has that treatment as well.
>>14717420
Ok, that makes sense. I was wondering why some sites like MAHQ were calling the Soltic "Roundfacer" when the show and merch call it Soltic.
I was always bummedCrinn and his pals didn't die. The starting scene was a red herring on par with batshit insane garlock
>>14715976
>>14715987
>Fist of the Sun : Dougram
>>14718419
You already have truth.
Is it weird that I like the Soltic more than the Dougram?
>>14718565
No, people like mooks more than the heroes' mecha all the time.
>>14718569
I don't mind most of the Dougram's design, but the coloring on it makes it look like it's wearing a dark blue bikini, which is pretty weird compared to the Soltic's more normal, Gundam-like coloring.
>>14718419
Anal Fisting of the Sun.
Why is Canary such a semen demon?
>>14720099
She's got a Deloyeran fighting spirit.
>>14720448
that means she'll suck your dick for a meal
>>14720483
Silly anon, that's Rita.
>>14720483
She will bite your dick away.
>>14720509
I'd give up truth if I got to play with Ritas Ritas
>>14725151
Only if you're an Earthling.
>>14715961
>>14715947
Weird. I thought nearly everyone on /m/ had already seen it. It's a pretty basic starter show for both mecha and space politics.
>interview with Dougram guy reveals knowledge of wrasslin
>get to this episode this week
like pottery
>>14725870
Nah, IMO it's more like it just has a relatively small group of people who really like it and who recommend it a lot.
This thread and seeing some folks talking so much about it lately here on /m/ made me decide start watching this today. 4 episodes so far and I'm really enjoying it. I hope it keeps this good pace until the end.
>>14727660
>that bit at the start where they kill a soltic by shooting it through the cockpit
Holy shit, wasn't expecting that.
>>14728126
Just wait until you get to the Garcia Platoon.
>>14728139
I can't forget how Seed creators have stolen the scene from Garcia arc
>>14728186
Wait what? Seriously?
>>14728197
Yes, the scene, where Chico hits a mech's bottom armor while riding a jeep was redone with Cagalli, RPG-7 and BuCUE.
>>14725768
And everyone here is an earthling.
>>14728385
I wish I wasn't.
>>14728186
Wait, really?
>>14728201
I've gotta get around to those newer Gundam series.
>>14728913
How did Crinn not get shot up immediately by that massive fleet?
>>14725977
Reruns of L-Gaim and Ideon were likely on TV while Chris Jericho was in WAR
>>14734579
neat
Rick's eyes look sorta kawaii uguu~
>>14736487
Rick is too kawaii to live, but too sugoi to die.
Did nothing wrong
Not OP, but I finished it last night.
What an ending. I felt really bad for the rebels that they got such an anti climatic war. Fuck Hesse.Lecoque did nothing wrong. His plan succeeded where Denon failed.
>>14743823
Lecoque spent 95% of the show trying to grasp power in his hand, and when he succeeded, he was destroyed. Just like real life.
>>14740203
He and Rick are unsung heroes.
>>14743823
Poor Hesse was just trying to grab peace without causing more destruction, but Lecoque seized on this when he heard about it to destabilize the rebellion entirely.
>>14743932
I actually really liked that the guy going for peace is shown to be in the wrong for once. Daisy really grew on me too. She goes from being an annoying rich girl to someone who does something really constructive.
>>14743949
Samalin was going for peace too, but victory had to come first. It's like he explained; Deloyer had to establish itself as standing on its own first, or else the Federation would never quite fully let their tenterhooks out. Of course, that's exactly what happened.
I wound up feeling bad for Hesse. It was a combination of entertaining and depressing watching him start to realize exactly how wrong he was and how well Lecoque had played him, and then he and his supporters playing damage control.
