In the last thread, someone mentioned that the Gokaigers didn't really mention all their powers much, like the subtle weapon merging trick they do. I noticed that's kind of a running thing. For being so flashy, the don't show off all their shit much. I almost forgot about these grappling hooks they used until I went back and saw how often they used them. Plus the fact the that they can use their swords and pistols out of suit seems rather unique among most Sentai.

Yeah, they must have done it before but somehow nothing really comes to mind for me. Funnily enough Gokaiger seems to have started a little string of that what with Kyoryuger and Ninningers' changers actually being weapons as well, and as I remember both Go-Busters and ToQgers used their guns and swords out of suit quite a bit. Zyuohger seems to have dropped that though.

So I don't suppose anyone else is playing Legends War, are they? What is up with this event regarding the Shinkengers? Is the combo diamond an exclusive to it? Beating the 20 energy one only gives you 45 sword soul things, but all the items in the store are in the hundreds to thousands.

The actual attack diamond would take 112 wins on the second match, but the energy needed takes an hour and forty minutes to get(1 energy = 5 minutes, 20 energy = 100 minutes) and the event ends on the fifteenth. 1 day = 288 energy, so at most you can do it 14 times a day meaning you get 630 soul things a day. Even if you did every match starting today as just the second match nonstop it would take you 8 days straight of playing just to get the diamond, but that's after the event ends.

Also, they finally introduced the prices to these V Gem things, and it's absurd. 60 gems is $5 which gets you either a single Gash pull or the 60 item set that gives you 10x 50 energy recharges. I take it they just want you constantly buying those for the event, huh?

Put in your name(Less than 8 characters I think it was) and then what you should do is go to Options at the top-right of the main menu(When in-game, not on the title screen) and hit the first button in the third row(The one with コード at the end of it) and copy the code down. As long as you have your name and that code if you lose or delete the app you'll be able to get your account back.

If you go to ショップ(Second button from the right on the right side) and click on the fourth tab(The one that says ショップ(Vマナ)) you should find two Legend Diamonds and a copy of The World. They intend for you to also buy the release item package in the first tab with The World in it, and I'd recommend it since it increases his max level by 1 and you get a bunch of other goodies to help you along your way for 50 or 60 V Gems.

If the BOX or ミッション tabs(First and fourth on the left side) have any numbers on them that means you can grab stuff. In the BOX the first tab is for stuff you bought from the shop or got as rewards, second tab is for usable items(Your Gash coins and energy refills), third tab is for event items like the Shinkenger sword soul things. In ミッション there's daily activities as the first tab and then achievements in the second tab so don't skip over them.

For the daily activities I'm not sure if I understand it correctly, but I think it's
01: Log in for a free Gash pull in the okay one.
02: Do a Gash roll for 1000 V Mana.
03: Raise V Cards up 3 levels for two 10 energy refills.
04: Use up 30 V Energy for 3 entry tickets into the garbage battle mode for V Mana.
05: I think it's clearing a level of story mode? I have no clue on this one.
06: I think it's just beating five missions in one day for 100 more coins into the okay Gash pull.

If you want to battle just click the giant button in the center. Shinkenger event requires you to have a bunch of decent cards to clear it reliably, middle is story mode(Do it), right is a garbage mode that requires tickets for VMana.

Damage increases for the team it's for and they let you do special moves instead of the generic space attack when you do a special with the specific team they're for. They have to be equipped before they actually work though(Top--right when you're looking at your deck before you start a mission). Special moves also seem to deal a crazy amount of damage when you have one equipped compared to when you don't, I do like 3k with a Gokai Galleon Buster/Zyuoh Slash but without it I deal around 1k per person to a random member on top of 1k or less to everyone. While using a change up like that is nice, they all went out way too easily and quickly, aside from a couple in mecha debuting episodes, making all the distinctions seem irrelevant.

This reminds me, I have a friend who studies Japanese history, and one thing he's really strict about is the history of "real" ninjas. He absolutely hates stereotypical pop culture depictions of ninjas and always goes out of this way to suck the fun out of it anytime he sees an "inaccurate" portrayal of ninjas, going on about how real ninjas didn't wear fishnet shirts or disappear into smoke clouds or blahbity blubity. According to the wiki, yes, they're both played by Yasuhiro Takeuchi (other notable roles include Gosei Red, which he played amazingly, and Blue Buster, another perennial favorite here)

I'll admit though, I don't see the similarities between Shinken and Gokai Green probably because Chiaki never felt like he was being played for laughs with his """unorthodox""" fighting style compared to Don

I don't even see the Shinken event? Do you have to get to a certain place in the story mode to unlock it? I only have story done through part of the Denjiman chapter and the VMana levels.

Like we were speculating earlier, it might be based off of Hero Power which you get from gaining more cards and leveling anything you have in general. I think 500 could have been the limit that unlocked it, but I myself thought it was just clearing chapter 2 of the main story which was incorrect since I didn't exit out of the menu until I did that at which point I had it unlocked when I checked it next.

Is Legend Wars crashing for anyone else? After I enter my name following the tutorial, it blows up.
