Hi all. Have a kit question that I'm hoping someone here will have experience with. I'm starting to plan out a new kitbash, and one of the components is going to be the cloak and shoulder armor units from Gundam Sandrock Custom. Having owned one before, I know that the 1/100 kit comes with those, but I wanted to work in 1/144 if at all possible. Does anyone know if any of the 1/144 Sandrock kits comes with the dust cloak? And if not, are there any other kits that might? Thanks.

For X there's HGAWs of the Gundam X, X Divider, Double X, and Airmaster. There's also MGs of the X and Double X.

There were a few older kits though, but some are really crappy and can require a lot of work to make them look good. Leopard, Airmaster, their upgraded forms, Virsago, the G-Falcon, the X series, and Daughtress Command were all available, but many of these are long since discontinued and require moderate skill.

There's also the HGBF Gundam X Maoh and Leopard da Vinci kits, which I hear are pretty good too.

I got it, and while people argued about how hamhanded that one guy was, it can be very hand grenade-y. In particular the large backpack makes it backheavy, the shield makes it sideheavy, the wrist armour falls off most of the time you move the arms, i should probably glue those. if you take all the stuff off that makes it extremely heavy on one side or another, it's not too bad, pretty sturdy, it's the accessories that kill it. Additionally, some of the stickers are in places that bend 90 degrees, so small corners don't hold down all that well. In the end, give it a cool pose using a good sturdy stand and it should stay put, it can survive the occasional glance.
tl;dr it looks sexy as fuck but is iffy on staying together in places, great for display OOB

For most regret probably Crossbone X1, its not that I don't like it it's just so.. bland compared to other models I have/had and even compared to literally every other Crossbone model released. X2, X Kai Kai, Full Cloth.

So, im planning out how to transform my GP02 into a Havel inspired mech suit (been wanting to do this since I saw build fighters).

This is what I got so far (no lineart of the shield, but its going to be roughly the same color with small hobby chains across it like havel), but I feel it needs more. Any feedback would be great as my MG GP02 will be finished soon and I want to start priming next week.

Random side question, if I prime it, will the texture rock spray stick to it or does it just look fucking bad. Im half tempted to try on my shitty 8$ HG's I got laying around, but id rather not waste the 3$ on the can of spray paint if someone else tried it or knows it wont work/look good

Local Type and Origin Guncannon are different molds that aren't connected to the Revive molds at all.

The Hyaku Shiki already shares parts with the Mega Shiki, any other Hyaku Shiki variant is likely P-Bandai. We might see a Zero Shiki, if Banrise decides to make Zeta: Define the next big thing thing after Origin.

I'm not familiar with the Local type mold so I can't say for certain, but the Guncannon origin definitely shares parts with the revive. It has a new backpack, a new set of hands, a shield and an alternate gun, but it's off the same mold.

As someone who does own the Revive Guncannon you're absolutely wrong. The Origin one shares nothing with the revive. The easiest way to tell this is by looking at the thighs; While the Revive's are a single piece that the knee and hip joints peg in to hold in place, the Origin's looks to be your standard two-piece operation
