For mecha, Demonbane is good. There's also that one where Nikola Tesla pilots a giant robot or something. Look it up on vndb.

The only other stuff that's in English is Muv-Luv, but honestly it's so crappy that I wouldn't waste my time with it. I literally enjoyed the entry without the robots the most, if only because I felt like that one was the most straightforward about what it was trying to do and could actually get to the point without the MC angsting or there being textwalls of exposition every 5 minutes.

I mean, if you want to get into tangentially related stuff, Daibanchou has a sentient robot character and is also probably the best VN I've ever played. It has literally everything I love all in one game.

Main character is having a dream where he's being judged for the killings he's committed, with his victims being the witnesses. His father is also involved, though I can't remember to what capacity.

It's been a while, but Chachamaru and Hikaru are messing with Kageaki's dreams for a bit (to find out what girls he's into), and I think this scene might also be Chachamaru and Hikaru manipulating his dreams as well.
