Reco was a solid 7 imo
Best animation of any Gundam TV series to date, cool mecha and sound design

I have a sincere question. For both people who hate this show, and those who like it.

If the show was otherwise identical, but didn't have the tomino name attached to it, would you still feel the same way about the show? Same characters, same dialog, same plot. Just directed by Miguel Sanchez or something.

Almost all reaction I see to the show, good or bad relies on Tomino's name.

It's more than that none would do it the same way

It would end up with Bellri shouting about how he needs to go poop, then a reaction shot of everyone and Noredo shouting BAKA and hitting him. In greco it is more a subtle visual gag, more a little oddity especially with that music track that is used no where else. Same with this scene, in most animes Noredo would shout HENTAI HENTAI but instead we just get a little movement and a get the fuck off face

Both ways are the same joke, but greco being a bit more subtle with it just makes it a bit better. Jokes like that don't need someone shouting that this is a comical scene, Greco's way makes them feel less like little anime stereotypes made to sell me merch
