Skyrider had Gan Gan G, who was pretty portly but it was more a dad bod thing. He was honestly the only part of Skyrider I found particularly funny that they intentionally did. It had a lot of unintentionally funny moments though, like Stronger just beating the fucking shit out of Skyrider.

It was ok. The Wizard part made so sense since I still haven't watched it, and the Gaim part wasn't perfect.

I liked the cameos of past supporting cast characters like Date and Satonaka, Terui and Akiko, and Utahoshi, though.

Maybe i'm a faggot who liked Gaim to much, but am I the only one who thought that the Zack Gaiden was the best fucking "Tales of..." release?

Probably helps that Zack is my favorite character. The whole "Two different people interpreting Kaito's will differently like the Boss" thing was great, and it was nice to see someone giving a shit about dancing after episode 10 of the series.

It kind of felt more like an early-season Gaim tone, but taken more seriously.

Not to disparage the other three Gaiden stories, but "Before the series" and "during the early series" are nice and can add cool details, but i'm a sucker for more narrative after the fact. And the Skull part of Movie War Core did "Before the series" best.

Even Accel Returns was a bit too straightforward for me, and I never understood why they'd choose Eternal for his own Returns Movie instead of like, Kirihiko. It was hard to follow and I only really cared about Heat Dopant woman.

Looking back on Gaim's suit, I fucking love it so much. So many little details that come together so well.

Looks like a suit of armour, but retains the fruit influence. Nothing gets in the way, nothing is super obnoxious. Its just so nicely put together.
