seems to me the most plausible way for it to happen is draft some drawfags to do basic mouthflap talking and a few VN-ish poses to reuse and recycle those for the character scenes
for robots crowdsource it to gunpla people. got a PG zaku? You're doing closeup shot #143. Got a bunch of HGs? Distant shots #122 and #155.
Figure out what resources you can get access to then write the story based around that

There was that visual novel being made a,while back, but it fell off. It's perhaps not a bad thing though, because the artists seemed more concerned with waifus and making as many references as they could, the setting seemed okay but kind of generic for a visual novel from what little I recall and the project seemed to have a "everyone's welcome and all ideas are valid" approach, which leaves you with no real identity because it ticks so many boxes without committing to any.

Story about everyday of White Dingo's style elite mecha team that stationed on a small apartement in small suburb on primordial planet to watch over two newtype-like person that under govermental program, that they forced to do as punishment for pranking their high commanding officers as 1st April threat.

They must live and act as a normal persons, doing normal jobs to avoid said newtypes suspicion, while also answer to their thankless jobs at saving civilian ass from primordial monsters, Mufti level rebels, and incompetence of their high commader.

A war between the earth and moon has left the Earth greatly inhospitable and polluted. In order to avoid extinction, Earthnoids have constructed massive flying cities to avoid the radiation on the surface, and these cities always gravitate opposite of the moon, in order to avoid being targeted by the Moon's infamous Orbital Cannon.

Neither the moon and the cities are entirely self-sufficient, and thus they are forced to gather resources by scavenging the irradiated Earth, where squads of mechs with detachable exoskeletons search for materials and return them to their transport ships, which will return the pilots and the loot the motherbase. Sometimes the Earthnoids and Lunarians will have to fight on Earth for resources, and nobody wants to die in the irradiated wastes. The story follows one of those Earthnoid scavengers who manages to get stranded on Earth after his transport ship is shot down by Lunarians and his mech inoperable, leaving only his exoskeleton and one week's worth of rations. Circumstances force him to co-operate with a Lunarian scout droid who does not speak and is also left for dead. Before he can be recovered by the next scavenger team, he discovers living humans on the surface who are seemingly unaffected by the radiation at all. Determined to investigate, the trail leads him and his robot buddy to an underground society of humans left behind after the ascension of the cities, which may also provide the answers to the ongoing war which started the whole mess.

The Gilded Shovel, a treasure hunting group in the new space frontier, one day digs up an asteroid to find an impossible creation: a giant robot. Unfamiliar with this lost technology, they trigger its activation and find a map to the remains of an ancient civilization inside. However, the robot's activation was detected by members of this ancient civilization, who send forces across space and time in order to bring it back to their time and prevent their present downfall. They can't be reasoned with, nor can they be negotiated with. The purpose of these robotic attackers is clear: the annihiliation of the human race. With an estimated 50 years before the star make contact with Earth, mankind has no other choice but to set aside their differences in order to fight for their survival. Former hostile corporations must now pool their resources and knowledge, as profits are no longer the most important issue. A dysfunctional society addicted to entertainment and technology where everyone only lived for themselves must now learn to contribute in any way possible if they wish to survive. The army is in dire need of new recruits. The only way out is to fight.

The story starts 48 years later on the Mars moon of Phobos, which is under attack by the White Star. By the hand of fate, a grizzled veteran, an idiot savant, and a heavily augmented spec-op end up piloting the prototype Durandal, Cortana, and Joyeuse mobile suits respectively, and must prevent the complete annihilation of Mars with the aid of the Boomer fleet by infiltrating the big White Star itself before it reaches Earth.

But there seems to be more to the purpose of the White Star...

A young man is employed by his uncle, an ex military black ops signals and communications expert who suffered grievous injuries in the last war, as a private detective in the first Mobile Suit Private Investigations company, MS PI.

Technically a legal mercenary organisation operating under government charter, they are employed by those who wish to discover information that could only be acquired in space, or that would require a force multiplier on the scale of a mech to survive the information acquisition. They take on many other cases involving mobile suit pilots both in the military and in pmcs.

MS PI takes on a mixture of ultra hi profile cases from mega corps and the ultra rich, off the books black ops intel work for small colonies and nations with limited militeries and a large number of sob story small time cases from people who pique the owners conscience.

But little do they know, the owner and all who have interacted with him are being hunted by the remainder of the black ops cell he was part of in the war, now operating semi rogue and trying to take him out for information he may or may not actually know.

The MC stumbles onto an off the books super prototype mech that does not legally exist, and thus that he cant have stolen while escaping the facility.

Like a cross between a bogart noir PI movie, cowboy bebop and NCIS.

So in the near future technology has advanced to the point that all countries could easily be taken out by any other countries long distance defense systems. The 3 nations that have essentially taken all of the Earth (The United States of America, The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and the Peoples Republic of China) have signed a treaty to keep all conflict within the continent of Africa and to only use mecha similar in size and make to pic related and restrict use of weapons to essentially giant AR-15s. Everywhere outside of Africa is relatively peaceful except for terrorist attacks from Nationalists of countries colonized. The war would be later figured out in the series to be a pact between the 3 Nation's government to allowed them to be able to use the rampant nationalism to fuel their nations economy and to keep social unrest under control, while also having a convenient way of regulating the Earth's population. The first half of the story would follow a National Guardsman whose unit is tasked with hunting down guerrilla nationalists. The second half would be his deployment to Africa. He'd be a sub par pilot but a great leader and tactician, and upon realization that the high ranking officer's want to maintain a stalemate, will break away from the main forces, gather a following, and win the war using tactics forbidden by the treaty. The other two nations then ban together, and launch a long range assault on America and it's territories. Real war ensues.

I think it would end up pretty jarring rotoscoped or not. P"o"J puts a lot of effort into making his stuff not look rotoscoped but it can still get a little wonky.
I can see where there's benefit to be had, but it seems to that much effort instead spent drawing stuff that _can't_ be stop-motioned seems like a better use of the energy.

Oh I got ideas for some.

For one would be a fantasy mecha and the first episode down

Demons are attacking humanoids Yeah that includes Elves, Dwarves etc after a 1000 year long rest.

Here enters our protag a young and very skilled swordsman as you see him getting haggled by two bandits. The MC quickly deals with them with a swift strike from his engraved blade that was his family heirloom. You never see the blade you only see him sheathe it. Anyways as they lie down unconscious he takes whatever gold they have on them as "punishment and compensation" for attacking him.

At the next town after spending the gold at a tavern some guards from the local town ask him to come with them. MC thinks he is in deep shit.

So they get to the castle and he gets a audience with the King, exposition happens about their affairs and the King drops that they were once in the same family and a feud broke them apart. Then the King informs the MC that the sword that he has is part of the treasure. MC thinks the King wants it and he refuses to give it up. Very crudely.

Anyways the king tells the story of what happened 1000 years ago and how they found out about the split.

There is a armor sealed in a orb that they hold and that is the second part of the treasure. The King then offers the MC to spend the night at the castle and try to free the armor tomorrow.

During the meal the MC meets the princess. While very respectful you can see the disgust in her face from seeing the MC eat so wildly. While eating guards rush in yelling "DEMONS, THEY ARE ATTACKING" thus causes the king to move his schedule forward a bit to unseal the armor. He then asks his daughter and the MC to head to the treasure room to unseal it. A few guards go with them for protection.

So while running the MC and the princess run into some demons along the way, while the guards try to hold them off the princess asks why the MC won't use his sword. MC replies that he can't. They argue a bit on why until the princess gets fed up and she grabs the sword to unsheathe the blade its revealed that its broken. The princess has a slightly deadpan stare as she looks at it, then starts to run.

A quick transition outside shows a massive demon about the size of the castle shows up and is slowly starting to walk towards the castle.

Then transitioning back you see the MC and the princess arrive at the treasure room. After some panicked arguing they hear a voice, a pretty low one to both stab the orb at the same time.

Once the MC and the princess do there is a huge blinding light.

They both appear in a white space wearing this weird armor. A spectral form shows up saying they must pilot the armor and that the MC must shout from the deepest of his soul the name of the armor. MC shouts "Grand Kaiser"

Thus it cuts to the large demon who is pretty close to the castle. Just as its about to swipe a huge pillar of light shoots out from the ground and a huge mecha floats up. The Demon is somewhat burned by the light.

Thus the MC with the princess fight the large demon and defeat it in a glorious fashion.

The day after the fight the King asks the MC to take the princess and find the other people who don the armors.

Thus their adventure begins.

I planned on a 4 cour series with about 25 of the episodes being a MOTW for a bit and include the other characters in the party that will form.

There is a wizard armor piloted by a pretty snobby elf guy. The Berseker armor is piloted by the bandit queen. The Paladin armor is piloted by a dwarf. The monk armor I know monk's don't wear armor just roll with it is piloted by a female human. The archer armor is piloted by a female elf. The dragoon armor is piloted by a orc, yes a orc but he is the most fucking loyal party member. An that is the whole team.

In the future, man has colonized the galaxy and formed various interstellar empires and power blocs. Amidst this, a mysterious woman appeared seemingly from nowhere, directing a terrorist organization set to establish a galactic junta. To oppose this threat to galactic stability, her "sister" has assembled a group of specialists tasked with hunting down these terrorist cells and eventually ending the organization altogether. In addition to the members being less qualified and experienced than their titles would imply, this anti-terrorist unit has a low budget and must rely on mothballed or surplus equipment.
