Xabungle is mostly good from what I've seen because Tomino harnesses his weirdest most autistic side for comedy, there's a bunch of fun animation & drawings and it has a good adventurous atmosphere but there were parts I felt the autism got too bad & took me out of the experience.

I also wish the main mech design was better, the humans look 100x better than it. Cool Cool Bye is not remotely memorable in terms of story but is fun to watch just to see a quick OVA with designs by the same guy.

Still fun though, I really gotta pick it up again and finish it one dya.

I think the Xabungle is great. I don't think there's a single Walker Machine I don't love.

Banjo Haran, Gavelt Gablae, Bern burnings, Todd, Amandra Kamandra, Jonathan glen, Yuu isami, Gain bijou, Tipp, and that general dude from wings of rean are my favorites outside of gundam that is.
