This is an stylized drawn cartoon. That's just bad art. And lazy paneling on top of that. His sense of action and dynamism is laughable. And it's not just one single title, it's all of them. Galaxy Express have sort of a ending because the movie version gave him the proper conclusion. Even so he decided to bring it back and yet again let it end it in the middle of nowhere.
