I don't feel conflicted at all.
While the art style and palette themselves were pleasant, most of the MS designs were awful. Montero and G-Arcane are the only MS in this show that I'd even consider buying gunpla for. That one G-IT suit with the hand-wings would look pretty cool in GBF but in a normal series it was just silly.

My main issue is that the kuntala angle was undeveloped - they just kept bringing it up without anybody really saying or doing anything about it. Then, after the time skip, Luin Lee and Manny are just doing their thing in the fucking Amazon or whatever. It also would've been nice to bridge the gap from Turn-A to G-Reco when they were at Venus Globe; maybe V-G was set up by disgruntled Jovians who fucked off to do their own thing in secret, hence the superior tech to the Moonrace-descended Towasangans. Hell, maybe V-G built the Turn X, accidentally sparking the final conflict of the Dark History, and this whole SU-Cordism photon batteries shit is their way of making up for it.
