Is the music in this game exclusive to the game? Or is it directly from the film?

If it's exclusive then I could possibly attempt to rip the OST from the IMG/CUE files. I've done it before with an obscure Japanese PSX game but I don't know if it'll work with this one

The level where you fight Meltran on the streets of the Protoculture city has an unused track. Really liked that one too.

I haven't played the game in its entirety, so I don't know if it's smart to come to a final conclusion...but since it would appear that the game's OST is just music from DYRL, I would suggest going through the "Macross: The Complete" OST on BakaBT.

It includes all the tracks from DYRL, even the unreleased tracks that didn't make it onto some other albums. The unreleased track you're looking for might be in there
