Okay so a common thing in Sentai is the enemy that has a weapon or power that affects a number of people throughout the episode. Like the Deathgalien that put a city to sleep with it's rose pollen, or that Metaroid that turned a school full of people into sand in an hourglass.

The resolution to this kind of problem is always destroy the weapon/enemy/macguffin. They destroy the thing, and all the negative effects it caused are automatically reversed. What I want to know is, how do they always know this will solve the problem? What would happen if a MOTW used a power/weapon like this and the heroes destroyed it, only to find out the macguffin was the only way to reverse the effects and they can't fix it without it?

Zyuoh is certainly much better than something like Kyoryu's efforts, but I wanna see more moments like the hospital episode of GB, where we mechs do more things outside of the scope of giant fights. The problem is that in most sentai, mechs are just glorified finishers at the near end of the episode, rather than something that feels like an organic element of the series. GB is one of the few sentai I can say feels like a legit /m/ show.

It took a while because I've never actually seen much sentai shows, I actually just showed up here because I finished watching the full run of kakuranger, which was a show that I watched as a child but only like a few episodes.
