Revell actually, from my research. The Duey model kit was bundled with some other mecha under a "Robotech" branded line in the late 80s.

So instead they slide a crane over, detach the pod and roll it away to be replaced. Sounds much the same, with the only added complexity being the mechanics need a ladder to climb on to the top of the Fanfan. An extra step yes, but not exactly a massive step in complexity.

Oh and the fact with the rocket pod configuration the aircraft would have to tilt more downward to hit a target than it would compared if it was mounted under or on a wing pylon.

It doesn't have turbofans looking at it though, since there's no engine component - just two enclosed rotors/propellors. Which isn't really any more complex than most helicopters - since most helicopters have two rotors too. The second is usually small, but they usually have them. The rotors on any other helicopter would also be a giant target that'd cause them to fall out of the sky if hit. Also, if those missiles are guided (and they are) then it won't matter what angle they're launched at so long as the target is more than a few feet away, since the missile can just adjust it's own angle after launch to compensate.

Only when used within Jaburo because of the lack of Minovsky particle scattering. Meanwhile in every other combat situation they'd be better off firing rockets due to Minovsky jamming.

Which is my problem and why I started this thread: I wanted to know if there were any other Federation OYW helicopters or some hovering aircraft that were used, mostly because I want to be really autistic over a model kit diorama I want to make.

I might just end up using a Comanche helicopter model kit, though. At 1/144 scale it wouldn't be too large compared to a mobile suit and since it never made it to production it's not too much of a stretch to say "oh this is a OYW helicopter totally"
