And like, I hate that, but I get why people might like it. If you found the characters funny and entertaining instead of irritating I get why you would like them too. What I don't get is why in 2008 when I was first looking at /m/ everyone played the whole Gekiganger thing entirely straight and acted like Gai was this awesome dude when the show repeatedly emphasizes that liking Gekiganger any more than "yeah it's a good show I guess" makes you annoying, an asshole, or both. It's like everyone entirely missed the point.
