I'm nearly done with Kuuga (just watched the final battle) and I have a few questions.

If Grongis explode when they die based on how strong they are, why didn't any of those killed by Daguva or Ichijou explode? Why didn't Daguva explode so big, it'd destroy the mountain, or at least reach Ichijou?

Why did Jean have a French name but only spoke in Japanese and English?

But those are just minor nitpicks, all in all the show was fucking awesome.

Honestly I don't even feel like it was a mess, I think it knew exactly what it wanted to be and what it wanted to say, and it's just that we're so used to fiction being a certain way we kind of kneejerk to thinking something like SamFlam being what it is is "bad".

Not that I think it had an incredible execution, I'd honestly say it's an 8/10 with a heavy toku bias and 7/10 without, but still don't see the main story as a mess.

I think it's really up in the air right now. Ghost has just as much potential to end on a high note as it has to crash a burn completely towards the end. Whether or not it's a "good" series I think depends on that outcome.

Because directly acknowledging the religious angle gets a little preachy and probably isn't interesting to kids, I'd imagine. Making it subtle is more clever in MY opinion, but it's clear to see how easily these references can be missed or entirely misunderstood, especially by the western audience. Hey guys I'm trying to get into Rider merch while I build through my backlog of plastic crack, I have the Figure Rise Kabuto in mind for later but my gf has a shelf to her nendoroids, are there any SD Kamen riders out there with decent size/detail that I could display beside them?
I'm looking at converge Faiz, but it's more like a statue than a figure and I'd really like a Kabuto or Blade to start although Faiz is up there too
Any recommendations? I'm also open to relatively overpriced out of print things too, I just really need to scratch this itch as it's been bothering me for awhile that I don't have any rider merch.

I thought that was the one good point about this episode. I really didn't want another two parter for a recycled plotline like that. Yeah, it'd be better if they had avoided it altogether, but if they were going to do it keeping it to one episode is a good choice.

I don't think the two previous deaths are comparable to this cliche though. The first one set up the premise of the series, with Takeru becoming Ghost. The 2nd one was more about Takeru accepting his coming death than anything else. He only disappeared for a minute or so.

Update for any anons it might help, I found a line called R/D (Real Deform) that is probably dead and was mostly used for Prize toys.
Since Blade and Kabuto never made it past concept according to MyFigCollection and I can't actually find a Faiz I went with Gaim.
They sure did make a lot of W and its variants though.

Sengoku Drivers from Gaim are pretty cool, mainly because Lockseeds are neat. The Faiz Driver is also great, but really expensive these days. Getting a DecaDriver is a sound investment, it's a cool belt.
