With Kirby Planet Robobot when can we expect more Nintendo franchises to go mecha and how?
There's already some good Mecha franchises Nintendo has
>Custom Robo
>Marionation Gear (Japan only)
>Drill dozer
>Xenoblade X
They just haven't used most of them since the mid 2000's

I just want Code Name STEAM 2.
They could've fleshed out the ABE fights into something really fun.

Mario Kart is slowly turning into F-Zero, so that might eventually get even crazier racing machines and playable robot versions of Mario and Peach (because let's face it, the Mario Kart devs love clone characters).

Arwings gain Valkyrie forms to go with the jet and gerwalk
Also maybe spoiler NSFW
Wonderful 101 sequel (with enough miracles)
Or bring back F-Zero (quit being stubborn Miyamoto)
Or Advance Wars.

Only if they put it on a good console with a resolution from this fucking century this time. I played the demo and couldn't fucking make anything out, 3DS is a garbage handheld with the specs of an android phone from 2008.
It would be a nice gimmick to have a console just for mecha games if they go that route because Nintendo doesn't have third party support

I am baffled as to why they didn't make a Custom Robo game with all the amiibo shilling.
>make tons of Custom Robo amiibo
>make the figures customizable
>litteraly Skylanders: Mech edition
Hell, it didn't even need to be good. I think they missed the boat though. I think the toy-to-life genre is slowing down.

>stubborn
Actually, the thing is he and/or the staff completely ran out of ideas.

If that's what the NX ends up being, it might be worth a shot.

Custom Robo's been dead since the DS days, sadly enough.

Damn, and no one did something like Angelic Layer yet
It isn't already?
