I'll go first for fucking incredulous.
This is going to have the same shitty animation and character designs as that last Transformers cartoon, isn't it?

cell shading in 2d, the lazyness
I'm not the target audience so I have no opinion one way or the other.
>>14279165
You're not the target audience for anything on this board.
Man of limited action
>>14279127
JUST
>mfw this and that shitty M9 trailer
holy fuck
>>14279127
>Man of Action
>Not Megaman of Mega-Action
>>14279127
Might be good.
Man of Action did Ben 10 and that Generator Rex show right? Those were enjoyable so hopefully this is too.
The design for Rock is looking a little lazy/uninspired though.

YAMERO
>>14279127
Oh boy another school setting. Never get's old.
Glad to see everyone is enjoying it.

>Vector cartoon

>2D cel shading
>Lazy
>Not literally how 90% of 2D cartoons were made
Nigga where do you think the 3D shading technique you're referring to came from? Literally painting tones with a limited palette on cels.

>Schoolboy
Why. Why do the middle class shits who make these shows think that school settings are so interesting that they have to show up in every pitch. Every show that I actually liked as a kid involved the main characters NOT having to go to school. There's nothing relatable about a robot having to deal with bullies because he can fry them to a crisp with his arm rocket thingies and I can't, so don't even try.

Astro Boy

>Aimed at kids 6 to 9, as well as parents who grew up playing the video games, the series will follow Mega Man’s newly-introduced alter-ego, Aki Light, a normal, upbeat, schoolboy robot who, when activated, re-forms into a suit of impenetrable armor. Other characters from the games and new characters, including Mega Mini, will also be featured.

No.
>>14280411
Still better than Might No 9.
Is there some like instinctive drive to sabotage all attempts to revitalize Megaman in modern man?
>robots
>having to go to school
>>14280757
It worked once.
>>14280757
Rock was originally just a housekeeping robot boy before he was upgraded to be a super fighting robot. Thinking of it that way I don't think this is too much of a stretch.
As for the design I don't feel too strongly about it either way. Feels like they tried a little hard to Tron it up but I guess that sort of thing appeals to kids today.
I'll reserve judgement until I actually see the show. Man of Action's stuff generally isn't too bad so I'll remain cautiously optimistic about it.
>>14281463
But MLaATR was interesting and pretty unique. This Megaman remake is going to be the exact opposite.
I'm not going to watch this, so why does it even matter what I think?
Psychonauts?
>>14279127
>>14279617
>that shitty M9 trailer
Dina was the first sign.
>>14281625
Somebody with zero input on the game?
>>14281496
Yeah, I thought it was pretty Tron-y too. The problem with a Mega Man reboot is that the games have been dead for, well, quite some time. They can't rely on a lot of kids knowing the games like the Ruby-Spears cartoon could.
>>14281557
Incidentally, even that is getting a sequel (alongside a bridge game).
>>14280191
It's all about execution i think. In this case, it sucks because the original megaman wasnt a school setting story.
If this were a battle network adaptation it would make sense.
>>14279712
>Aki Light
>when American canon has been calling him Rock Light for almost 20 years now
What's the kanji for aki? 安芸?
>>14280191
>Every show that I actually liked as a kid involved the main characters NOT having to go to school.

Did he really deserve it so bad?
