I forgot about that one. Yes, 00-BF was truly the peak of Gundam TV quality from Sunrise (until G-Reco that is) and nothing since has come close. Maybe they've spent all that 00/Unicorn money...

I think what helps GReco a lot is just how colorful everything is. something is always happening on scene which is awesome. the IBO had mediocre animation at best but what it lacked was a great deal of color, it was so boring to watch. heck last several gundam series lack fun color in the animation

I agree. The fight in episodes 21-22 (inside the colony, but I don't remember the names of both colony and the enemy group) are the best 2D mecha combat I've seen in years
