There are a crapton of small details in Delta I autistically notice. Just off the top of my head

-When Elysion's ARMD launches for the first time, we get the shot of a bunch of seagulls flying off of it to give it a sense of scale

-In episode 3, we see Hayate and Mirage's VF-1EX's flaps move when they move the stick something that is pretty much never seen often.

-In the last episode, we see Hayate moving his engines around before taking off. Also the helmet coming down and then going back up seems random at first but then you realize it is just the VF-31 doing pre-flight checks

-The VF-31s Pinpoint Barrier screen is consistently visible

I also liked how they showed the Vars-controlled VF-171 changing magazines for it's gunpod.

The minute details are very welcome. I love the mechanics now play a larger role...something we hardly saw enough of in previous Macross installments.
