I'm having trouble deciding which route I should take on this second 64 girls only run, I'd appreciate some input. I'm not doing the Sanc Kingdom thing again, so I have two choices, join OZ or remain independent.

In the independent route I can recruit both Four and Rosamia, get a Gundam Mk.III and upgrade the Methuss into Methuss Kai, for whatever that's worth. The Mk.III seems usable but nothing too special, it's probably not better than the Vigna Ghina. Rosamia seems great, but because this game only lets me deploy a maximum of 15 units per stage, getting her means that I'd have to bench someone else that's usable, probably Elle or Fa.
I can also get Chara Soon with a Geymalk and the Neue Ziel in this route, which are awesome things, but they come really late, literally only for the last four stages of the game.

In the OZ route I can get the Mass-Production Nu Gundam, which is great because any unit with funnels is high value, and it comes decently early. I can also get the Full Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai, which is supposedly really good. No Rosamia or Chara, but I can still get Four as she's available in both routes.

Story-wise, in the OZ route I'd fight Scirocco with his own OZ faction (really the Titans), which would be funny to do with an all-female team. In the independent route I'd fight the White Fang instead.

I did bench Fa at the very end of my previous run, but in retrospect I should probably have benched Elle or Roux instead since Fa has Focus and they don't. Fa's Newtype level is lower, but NT4+Focus is better than raw NT7.
Rosamia does get (Cyber) Newtype up to level 8 and lerns Focus, as does Four, which is why they'd be really good, but the tradeoff is that I wouldn't have enough high-end units for all of them until almost the end of the game. Fa, Elle and Roux all get Luck, so they're valuable to make money.

Hello all ten people who probably still give a crap about Super Robot Wars Eternity. Over the last year and more, there has been quite a bit of progress in the department of map sprites and assets. Since SRWE is intended to be an editor as much as its own game (or so I'm told), some assets were made specifically for Project Eternity in mind while others are generic map tiles for both our use and that of future project.

Here is a mock up of what a map made with the Space tileset could look like. As of this post, the space tileset is composed of easily over 600 unique tiles, which range from the space background with the stars you see to asteroid field, debris field, nebula and space stations and much much more.

Saisei's grunts are actually less beefier than Hakai's, the biggest "common" grunts you see are the Gravion Zwei enemies at like 15K or so HP, nothing compared to Hakai's fucking stupid 22K+ Godmars enemies.
It's just you see the miniboss Gigadamon a little more often than you saw the Dinodamon in Hakai, and really, in general you see miniboss units more often which is good.

But yeah the game turns into fucking autopilot turbo in almost no god damn time

Scene 4 of SRW MX.

So far, I've survived pretty well by relying on just the units appearing on the cover I've obtained.

There were a few missions where the game wouldn't give me reinforcements until I defeated objectives with whoever they gave me. Those were challenging if the units were already part of my cast, and not new arrivals.

Beyond that, my team has been pretty stellar.

Mazinger Z/Kouji - Picked up a lot of kills in TFO, and is now kicking shit left and right with his kami ka akuma ka no majinga zetto.

EVA-01/Shinji - By far the easiest to abuse of the cover units. Takes no damage thanks to AT field, thus guaranteeing all my SP is saved for offensive boss killers.

Dendoh/Ginga - Hokuto (the Unicorn Drill pilot) gets no use since I never switch forms. The primary form of Dendoh does everything I need and the switching around offers no major benefits I can see.

Zeta Gundam/Roux - By far the least performing of my team. I'm hoping this can be improved by simply dumping Roux and replacing her with Kamille by the time he shows up.

Daimos/Kazuya - Solid performance, just got him so no real special comments. He kicks ass.

Raideen/Akira - Do it for him, protect that smile.

Rahxephon/Ayato - Raideen II, but Ayato isn't as kakoi as Akira.

The remaining members who have yet to join my ONLY COVER UNITS party:

Yeah, that sounds about right. I pretty much used regular Dendoh nine times out of ten and switched to the Data Weapons just for kicks.

Plus, Ginga has some of that Hokuto No Ken action going so that's always a plus.

Someone posting a pic a while back made me want to play an all-girls G Generation Overworld playthrough for a while, if only to screw around with some of the many variant MSes that exist in the game. Mostly giving ladies either the main mech of the series they were in or something that seems fitting. Hamarn in the Titania, Luna in the Destiny with her sister in the Destiny Impulse, Tifa with the DX, Rain or Allenby in the God, etc.

The Data Weapons have stronger finishers until you get a couple of new attacks for the base form, and those come pretty late in the game.

Basically, will is a direct multiplier for your weapon power and defense, instead of having the much subtler effect on your damage/defense that it does these days. At 150 Will you're doing 1.5x more damage. Constantly. But will is also extremely effective for boosting enemy defense too, so bosses that spawn in at 130+ will are a pain and will probably one-shot everything but the beefiest Supers, who should probably also be at 150 will to survive.

Oh, and in the older games enemies don't tend to gain will when their allies are shot down, so unless they spawn in at higher than normal will basically everything is gonna die in 1-2 hits once you get your own Will train going.

So which is the more obscure of the really-old-one-off-SRW-appearance super robots? Daiohja, Mechander, or Acrobunch? And is there anything interesting in any of them? Figured I'd educate myself a little after I ended up learning about Machine Blaster last time I asked about this stuff.

Daiohja is Mito Komon WITH GIANT ROBOTS. It's sort of a spiritual Invincible and it shares a lot with Trider. According to the people who have seen it, it's pretty fun, but it defines episodic - literally no continual plotlines at all. GC had the first and last episode of its plot, and combines it with Baxinger mostly.

Well, Acrobunch feels like an Indiana Jones story with a giant robot, with a whole family of treasure hunters going after some ancient secret treasure at the same time as the villains and gives the feeling of an Around The World in 80 Days sort of series. It's pretty fun.

Matt got Daiohja pretty well with >>14213567 and Mechander is sort of a rebellion story taking place after aliens already conquered Earth. It has it's gimmick of being forced to do fights quickly since the aliens rigged things to launch nukes at giant robots automatically. It adds a bit of tension to the fights and it's actually sort of a darker series overall for a few reasons. Pretty good stuff.
