I guess this is a lore question.

The T-Link system used in Super Robot Wars: Original Generation is basically a Newtype device. Could a Newtype like Amuro, Kamille or Judou use a PT equipped with a T-Link system effectively?

IIRC in Alpha they talk about this, Psychodrivers dont rely nowhere near as much on emotion and empathy to use their powers, but they are sensitive to other types of psychic powers being used in the battlefield.

Its really just mind power, nothing too related to soul, heart or emotions like Newtype abilities are.
