Alright, I managed to get Allenby. Turns out there's a mini path split within the route I'm in where you can choose to go hunt down the Devil Gundam with the Shuffle Alliance and Wing boys, and this gives you one last chance to recruit her. It's a fucking annoying stage in an island full of mountains where you can't move for shit on the ground and nobody other than Manami and Heero can naturally fly, but Manami is more than strong enough to solo both Kyouji and Master Asia, so it ended up being pretty easy.
Although I'd love to use Allenby, I probably won't. Obviously she doesn't have Super Mode or Newtype or any useful skills (she does have potential, but she's not supposed to get hit anyway). Nobel kinda sucks, movement range is only 5, weapons are all range 1 except for one which is range 3 without being (P). Her spirits are nothing special either. Terrain ranks are good, that's about it.

On the first stage with the X characters you start with a bunch of them fighting your protagonist unit. Your protagonist has whatever upgrades and parts they had when the stage began, which can make beating them impossible if you've upgraded them too much, but if you keep them weakened but give them godly parts, you'll get the parts as rewards and then also keep the parts they actually had on them. I never got why the UC pilots had helmetless cut-ins for regular moves, but for support attacks they wore their helmets.
