Plenty of people will tell you it's shit to dissuade you from enjoying it. And I will hold back on saying how much i enjoy it because that may cause you to overscrutinize it as a response.

Watching it subbed can be a bit odd because of a pretty dry translation, and watching it dubbed will result in a few oddly delivered dialogues, but I'd say i prefer it dubbed.

Look up RX78/encodergasm's releases on nyaa or bakabt. They're the ones that say [EG]. Those are the highest quality releases of the series you will find, but be warned, they're massive. I think they're always encodes of the Blu-ray, can't think of any time they haven't been.

By the end of Zeta Kamillie sorta moves past Jerid and his mum dying and all that. When Jerid shows up Kamillie is like "wait what? We're rivals?"
Jerid has a very thematically fitting death. There are all these sweeping, history changing events going on with the Grypps conflict, a fight to determine who will win the earth sphere. Yet Jerid can't see past his little rivalry.
So his punishment is that he doesn't even get a fight with Kamillie.
