When they add a series with its plot on, they always add the main character unit to the cover plus some random fucks that always gets in like Daizengar and Alteisen. The only exception is Alpha, because multiple characters, and technically it is the SRX team saga, so when there's actual OG plot there, Banpreios or the AR-1 will be in the cover. Besides, Alpha characters have their own character plot that with few exceptions, can easily work even if you divorce them from the main plot of Alpha 2/3, so they don't need to appear in the cover to have their mini plots done.

-Dark Brain is the penultimate boss with a new form after being defeated once
-ART-2 and ART-3 being tested, you get SRX later for final bosses

-Astranagant piloted by Ingram appears to help in the final stages

G-Breaker was a spinoff of Sunrise Eiyuutan, published by Sunrise's game division before they got shuttered. It had help with development by Atelier Sai who also did work on the Sunrise Eiyuutan games, the G-Savior game as well as the Cyber Formula game on the GC.

I don't know anything about the GC originals aside from a similar theme to one of the battle pieces in Eiyuutan as well as the Cloud Saber/Soul Gunner/Lancer similarities. Whether it's intentional or not, it wouldn't be surprising to find out that the reason its not in is because both Sunrise Interactive and Atelier-Sai being shuttered.

Yes, I've definitely developed a problem with SRC, given I just downloaded about five new games to try on it. (Also learned through some digging that the NOVA game I'm playing, as well as GS, also made by the same guy, are still in progress. Only ALTERNATIVE is a complete game from him)

One interesting game that I re-dug without remembering at first is SRW Doppelganger. Basically a SRW full of donut-steel versions of what you might fill an actual SRW list. It's own Demonbane, it's own Mazinger, Getter, V Gundam, Zoids, etc. Also, much like the G robot wars above, an X-themed SRW scenario.

You know what I missed while playing Z2.2?

The 00 pilots having their own special cut in at the start of their Trans-AM move.

They just use the standard cut in in 2.2 instead.
