How come an I-field doesn't disrupt it's own Mobile Suit's beams?

Turns off momentarily to let the beam through. Simple engineering, really. Similar to how old planes with front mounted machine guns were timed so they would shoot up the propeller.

Oops, meant 'wouldn't shoot up the propeller.'
>>
>>13646474
That doesn't make any sense.

I know that's a mistype, but that was a thing that happened rather often.

I thought there was something about i fields that allowed shorter wavelengths or close ranged beams to penetrate them.

Forgetting his namesake, Anon?

Then how did Marida block that Beam Saber in Unicorn?

Also, iirc, in the Dendrobium's case, the main gun's barrel was so long its end was poking out of the I-field.

Anyone got that Webm of Ghost where the Axe Ganma has to open up tiny holes in his shield for his own axes to pas though
>>
>>13646734
Yeah, the timing chain did slip sometimes.
>>

That would be why the F91 has the VSBR.
