>weapon changes
>new stage designs
>lots of references to other things (each music track comes from a non-Mega Man game, for instance)
>bosses have new attacks and are overall much harder (Toad Man isn't a pushover anymore!)
>ending that slightly changes depending on what you do before then
So it'll be a wet dream for you. Granted, the English script gets clumsy from time to time, but that's not much different than usual.

Spin offs like X, Legends, Battle Network and Soccer don't count. Remakes and collections don't count. ROM hack and fan projects DEFINITELY don't count.

I don't even count the handheld 6, some people wouldn't count 8-10.
