Anon, I got started with Wing as well. I'll admit that a lot of my love of it is nostalgic in its nature. I'll also admit that a lot of other Gundam series are better than Wing. A few friends of mine and myself had been talking for years about rewatching it and we finally did, and while it does have its flaws, I still enjoyed it. I just finished watching 00 for the first time, and while the first season was ambitious, and arguably good, the second season did not live up to the standards set by the first. Maybe I've watched Enough Gundam where its tropes are laughable to me, but I was laughing through the end of 00 S2. If you had said the first season of 00 was better than Wing, I wouldn't be writing this, but as a whole? Sorry, bro. Gotta disagree with you.

He did. He only spends time with Duo during those first at most 10 episodes? When they go undercover at that school and Relena chases after Heero? Then Heero fucks off and the two of them never work again until you see them together in Endless Waltz. They're really only together a hand full of episodes out of 49!
