What's with this French Revolutionary motif? The Gundams don't seem to go along with it, but the Leos do.

>the Leos do.

Taurus are cooler
Wing was originally conceptualized to be like G, with each Gundam representing a specific country/culture. Wing was Japan, Deathscythe was Europe, Heavyarms was the US, Shenlong/Altron was China, and Sandrock was Egypt/the Middle East. The whole motif was dropped pretty early on in the development process but there are still some design holdovers.

Wrong

The top parts of their legs are fatter than the shins. Like the pants/socks the French military wore.

How was Deathscythe supposed to represent Europe?
>>13559025
No, they are just straight up G designs that got reporpused and adaptated a little bit (deathscythe was supposed to have a coffin shield)
why are they all fuccbois

The French revolution saw the invention of modern pants, and they were worn by the revolutionaries. The older form of trousers were the culottes, knee-breaches, which were worn by the royalists and old guard during the conflict.
