He did that in the last universe, preventing many events from happening and made the world into a safer place using his knowledge and memories from his other selves from other universes. He gave hints to his grandfather to build Mazinger Z. Everything worked out flawlessly.

But the catch is ZERO is Kouji + Mazinger Z at full power. The better the 2 gets the stronger ZERO becomes. Birth of ZERO is inevitable in all universe. The action which Kouji takes will only make things worst at the end. ZERO will be unstoppable, and will destroy the multiverse anyways.

Well if SRW is really going to adapt this version of Mazinger (which I don't think they will) everybody will get the stat buff item "Soul of Steel" at the end.

As for the part about ZERO "losing" I don't think this is the case. Kouji + Z = ZERO, and this formula will exist forever no matter what. Rather than saying ZERO is giving up everything to nourish the new generations it is actually getting well fed by all the new ideas created. From time to time Kouji and Mazinger Z (= ZERO) will come back in "different forms" with all these new hacks integrated.
So by the end of the day ZERO is still be the "strongest" because it is living and gaining through others' lives.

How strong Mazinger Zero actually is? It can still tank that Kouji Super Photon Wars.
Isn't it kinda the same with Getter Emperor but rather than straight evolution, Mazinger Zero will keep on evolving to become as strong as it needs to beat the enemies?
I think it is very cool how Mazinger Zero follows that concept. Because IIRC Go Nagai or Ishikawa or Ishinomori said back then that he didn't want to compare the strength of Getter and Mazinger and Mazinger will be as strong as it needs to be to defeat its enemies.
