Because Tomino, essentially. If Tomino likes someone, it's not unusual to see them reappear in many of his works. Sochie's VA also voiced Hime in Brain Powerd... Romi Park too voiced a character in BP. Tomino recruited them from a theatre group his daughter ran in the mid 90s. In fact, you see the same thing with Aida's VA (Shimamura Yu), she was in The Wings of Rean. IIRC Tomino spoke very positively about her before G-Reco aired.

Lots of recurring scriptwriters, animators, chara/mech artists too.
