A lot of the spin offs and reboots are kinda bad in my opinion and go in directions that I don't like.

Besides the main series wrapped up nicely in a neat bow, there are plenty of shows that are one series or season that are cult classics. Less is more in my opinion.

Most shows don't have spin-offs. Gundam was never meant to have sequels and spin offs. Zeta was something Sunrise did out of desperation because the market was collapsing in 1985.
