I know that MBE are subbing Juspion and Janperson, but are there any other active projects right now? Otherwise, Metal Heroes thread.

Nice pic, OP.I'd love to sub Solbrain, but I don't know Japanese. Scripts are on kitsunekko if anyone wants to hit me up for timing and shit.
>>12523773
Pretty much just Sailor Otaku in his solitary crusade to sub Winspector. Moon-Lighters did a single ep for Jiban a while back, but are still heavily focused on Detective Conan (just let Aoyama end the series already, please).

That sucks. It still boggles my mind that absolutely NO ONE has done Gavan.
>>12523916
The saddest thing is, Hikari-Senshi once attempted to, but sgktkira's piss-poor management eventually did him in. Maybe some good professional Samaritans will pick it up someday.

There IS a viable option, but most fansubbers wouldn't approve of it.
Juspion, Jiraiya and Jiban got official DVD releases in Brazil, with the original dubs and new subs. Should be easy to grab the subs and translate from Portuguese (these translations are top notch).
Now, almost all the other Metal Heroes (except Exceedcraft and Blue Swat IIRC) have actually aired here and most of them can be found complete floating around: Bicrossers, Cybercops, Machine Man, the Space Sheriffs, Solbrain and Winspector are confirmed. The problem is, some dubs are terrible (Gavan had a LOT of adaptations), and some have terrible VHS quality.
That said, it's better than nothing. Any anons willing to help could translate more easily from Portuguese than Japanese.

It's as good a solution as any, as long as Metal Heroes gets more support. Luurah tends to translate mecha shows from Italian versions, so who wouldn't do similarly for this?
>>12524083
Maybe Rampage when they get bored with whatever shows they're subbing?
>>12524600
>Implying a group with actual Jap translators would waste their time with this
Besides, we don't get shit from Rampage unless LxC is willing to help bring it over into English.

There's been like three attempts, one by Overtime, none of them got past episode 10. Someday anon. Someday.
>>12524013
>Trusting BR's to translate anything
NO. Just no! I know you're desperate anon, but this fandom needs less shitty subs.
Metalder is pretty fun.
I like this picture because it looks like he's a mentally handicapped person hitting his own head with a baseball bat.

>There's been like three attempts, one by Overtime
That must've been a really terrible attempt then, because I have no recollection of it whatsoever
(you meant BunnyHat right)
So, choose the form of the destroyer:
Instant gratification:
I put out the episodes as I finish them and you run the risk of long delays in between new ones.
Batch:
I release them in large batches of maybe 10 or so at a time.
The Whole Thing:
I don't release until I finish them all.
>>12527160
Instant gratification
Because people who watch metal heroes* are used to long delays between ANYTHING being released*all five of them
>>12527160
Instant. The last thing we need is another Gekiranger situation, where the whole show gets done without outsiders pointing out any mistakes.
>>12527189
No kidding there.
>>12527160
Batch.
>>12527160
Instant, but I'm fine with waiting till you've finished another two episode for a starting batch of ten.
>>12527160
instant
>>12527160
Batch of 2 to 5
>>12527160
Instant mate. I
