Could "EMS-10 Zudah" become a good alternative main battle mech than "MS-06 Zaku II"?
>>
>>12495274
Zeon wouldnt have lost if they had those.
>>
>>12495274
The Zudah was just as good as the Zaku 1, and faster too. If they fixed the defects in the Saturn engine or just installed a limiter it would work just fine.

The only reason it didn't was because of those at Zeonic using their dirty tricks.
>>
No way. It can't even look straight because of that strut going down the middle.
>>
Yah it was the Fiat G.55 of mobile suits
>>
>>12495277

Zeon already lost the war when they let Revil got away with the "Zeon is exhausted" speech. Everything else is just going through the motion. Zeon could never compete with EF 's economic might.

The Zudah was a superior suit to the Zaku I, but breaking apart during testing became it's undoing. Had they installed a limiter or found another way to keep the suit from exploding, it would have won the contract.

On paper, the thing's a monster that easily outperforms the Zaku II F type. The bigger question would be, how would Zimmad confert the Zudah to be used for terrestrial use since they wouldn't have time, or the contract to develop specific earth suits like the Dom and the frame of the Zudah is a lot more fragile than the Zaku I and Zaku II.

>>12495390
The Zudah's production would have occurred before the OWY even began. If the stories from the Bible were true about Zaku II C types being consumed in the blast of the nukes they fired, that wouldn't have happened with the Zudah since it can go 8 times faster than the Zaku.

Supposedly they did that with the EMS-10f.

I like the Zudah F. Took an already pretty awesome suit and make it zeekier.
>>
>>12495410
>since it can go 8 times faster than the Zaku.

the only early UC MS that can go 8 times faster than a Zaku II is the EX-S and that was built 10 years later and powered by 8 nuclear reactors.
>>
>>12495274
Sans the exploding problem it would have been better.

Not sure how it would fair in ground combat though.
>>
>>12495490

Probably won't do much better than the Zaku. They weight about as much. The real winner for EF was their type 61 tanks that hold out against MS ground forces when deployed effectively and in numbers.
>>
>>12495410

>on paper

on paper it has a slightly higher thrust than the GM
>>
>>12495568
>>12495443
In terms of thrust it's 58700 kg (Zudah) vs 43000 kg (Zaku II), vs 48000 kg (GM) I wouldn't call 10000 kg slightly higher.

It's max acceleration is where it's at true monster. The Zaku is 0.59 G, The GM is 0.94 G, The Zudah is 8.00 G.

That they made a 20m tall humanoid frame that can take those gees is a miracle of the universe.
>>
>>12495706
Well if it didn't fall apart and explode, it could go that fast.
>>
>>12495325
>Fiat G.55
If anything the Gelgoog is the Fiat G.55 of UC.
>>
>>12495706
The whole point was it couldn't, it could theoretically reach those speeds but the frame couldn't take it.
>>
>>12495552
if the Saturn engine's higher acceleration allows for faster jump jetting, then it might give the Zudah an edge against tanks and those pesky planes
>>
Well, Zudah F was constructed using parts and assemblies from Gyan, and he has done some fighting on Earth...

>>12495672
thats literally impossible, the thrust to weight ratio just isnt there and i dont know what idiot thought those numbers would work in-universe or real life. fucking Unicorn Gundam has twice as much thrust and weights half as much but only pulls about 3.5Gs.
>>
>>12496152

Holy fucking shit dude.
>>
>>12495418
What's up with the scales?
>>
>>12496152
i cant believe you posted "that fucking chart". its worse than worthless.
>>
>>12495783
The Gelgoog is more of the Panther tank to the Zaku II's Panzer IV
>>
>>12496253
Some sort of ablative armor? Maybe active cammo?

>>12495747

I don't know about that, I thought it was an engine overheat issue.

they are both monsters on paper, the G-Savour's gunpla box directly states right on the front that it has over one million kg of thrust and weighs something like 4 times as much as the RX-78. EX-S is powered by 8 nuclear reactors and was built with the best possible materials at the time to outrun and outgun anything it was up against.

all figures are collected from official technical manuals and model kit documentation, doesnt matter how silly you might think they are.

And Curtis "Gigatons" Saxton wormed his way into the old Star Wars canon and filled it with insanely supermassive power-level crap in order to win SWvsST arguments, it doesn't mean his numbers are worth giving any real credence.

>>

Would a Zudah be able to support the Dom's legs?
>>
>>12495672
GM is actually 48000 for the main thrusters. You forgot to add the leg thrusters. The total thrust on HG manual is 55500kg, with a full load weight of 58.8 ton. Learn to read

>The Zudah is 8.00 G.

Do you even math? How can yo have 8 G acceleration out of a 58700kg thrust?
