psychoanalysis is not a science. Freud never referred to it as being a form of science, rather it was a field he pursued because of a deadlock of certain scientific approaches to understanding the mind. then again, the idea that only scientific fields can have some truth value is an anglo delusion, and, as with all anglo delusions, it must be purged swiftly from the brain before it develops into full-blown autism
