Well, yeah, my reasoning is mostly the same. We all have a limited amount of time in this existence, so why not make the most of it and help others do the same? Why not be good and help others simply because you can?

I myself am driven by that same motive; doing good for goodness's sake, but I still need unbiased opinion as to the reason why, simply because I want to convince others to do so.
