How long have you guys been on /lit? What's your favorite era? Do you think things have changed since the /pol invasion and the creation of /his?

Since 2009 or so (sad). It was decent back in the day with the Marxists and Catholics going at it. Quality threads and quality posters, the Derrida faggot, etc.
Then came an /r9k/ invasion, then /pol/. Now it's utter shit.

Been here since 2009 as well. I actually learned a lot about modern literature here.

It's an utter brain drain these days. Nothing but bait threads

About five years, with a couple of extended breaks. The Patrician Guy meme is sorely missed. My knowledge of world lit has exploded because of this place. However the returns have diminished, threads devolve further than I remember, and I have learned not to contribute my best or most personal offerings here

I actually kind of miss the Communists. At least they made it spicy.

The commies were at least well-read. Can't say the same for the infographs people
Lets raise a glass.
i really just wish we could have a thread of actual discussion like i remember there being instead of nothing but alt-right threads. it seems like the people who are actually knowledgeable don't make quality contributions anymore
