I'm interested in purchasing a collection of Byron's poetry, especially a collection which features these "Byronic heroes" I hear folks talk about here. Anyone have a recommendation as to which collection I should get?

A close confidant, during one of those nocturnal exchanges when the fourth glass of wine has been drunk and the conversation turned to the confessionnal, described my character to me as being, "essentially, that of a Byronic hero". While resistant to define myself essentially and all too aware of the negative traits this suggested of me, I was unable to disguise the wry smile playing across my face as I agreed with her.
