If you want to be a scholar on Plato, probably. If you're anyone else, just follow the St. John's reading order or something.

Euthyphro>Apology>Crito>Phaedo, then whatever you want. It's very important you read these for first as the rest of his dialogues are referenced back to these 4 in some regard.
>>
this is a rough order from the /lit/ philosophy project, how is it?
>apology
>euthyphro
>crito
>symposium
>phaedo
>meno
>republic
>laws
>parmenides
>timaeus
extras
>theaetetus, sophist, statesman (relating to parmenides)
>gorgias (relating to republic)
>phaedrus (relating to symposium)
>cratylus (relating to euthyphro)

We should really make a chart for this, here're my thoughts:
(First five read in order)
>Euthyphro
>Apology
>Crito
>Meno
>Phaedo
(Easier Dialogues, Read in whatever order)
>Charmides
>Laches
>Lysis
>Lesser Hippias
>Ion
>Menexenus
>Statesman
>Phaedrus
>Euthydemus
(Medium Dialogues, Read after easy dialogues, whatever order)
>Protagoras
>Gorgias
>Symposium
>Cratylus
>Philebus
(Harder Dialogues, read after medium, in order)
>Theaetetus
>Sophist
>Parmenides
>Republic
>Laws
(Post-Harder Dialogues)
>Timaeus+Critias
>>
I've only read Republic, what next?
Or did I fuck up?

Plato is pretty accessible, Anon. They're called dialogues fo a reason. I wouldnt worry too much about the order and just begin.

gorgias, theaethetus and phaedrus are all very good and the phaedrus is especially enjoyable. if you have to pick, toss the laws for these. Crito is not necessary but so short and insightful nonetheless. However, I don't understand why the meno is after the phaedo here. The overall order doesn't really matter, but some dialogues are better read after others. Id propse: apology, euthyphro, meno, crito, phaedo, republic, gorgias, symposium, phaedrus, theaethetus, parmenides, timaeus.
