Why do you place so much important on getting a girl?

It's important when you find someone you realize you can't live without, but pining over the idea of having a hypothetical girlfriend is pretty pathetic. You're better than that.

Be happy with yourself. If you feel lonely, buy a pet or a plant to take care of. But don't do things just because you think the key to happiness is having a girl around. That's the sort of attitude that gets you into a loveless marriage that makes you realize how precious freedom and being your own person are.
