I've been listening to the whole series on Audio book. If you are a 40k fan its awesome.

This book is a good read, Dan Abnett is one of the best pulp writers of this generation.
But the rest of the writers of the Heresy are not at his level.

If you want to try 40k in general, you're probably better off reading a book series written exclusively by him, like Eisenhorn or Gaunt's Ghosts.
