Does anyone have any book recommendations that personally improved their lives. I am looking for a book that will make me less insecure, more sociable, more authentic, more conversational, less anxious.
Here's a book I found helpful.

His whole metaphysical foundations are wrong and that leaves his account of human nature and his ethical doctrines floating in the air

How can you even tell they're wrong? Geometry doesn't work the way he wants it to, his arguments aren't structured in anything resembling valid forms. It's impossible to say whether his definitions work or not because he's so specific about the function of each term in his system, and he's very eager to dismiss everyone who's ever disagreed with him as an idiot. His conception of God has nothing meaningful in common with the traditional Christian or Jewish conceptions of deity. There is no good reason to take anything in the Ethics seriously. Maybe the Tractatus Philosophico-Politicus is better. I don't care if it is--the Ethics is the big metaphysical dog, and it's all bark and no bite.
