What's your opinion on this book. I bought it a while back

I'm reading it right now. It's illuminating in most pages, and filled with good hints aside the reading.
Some anon will tell you that most of the book is filler, it's true, but it's not useless crap, it's just repetition of the core concepts of intelligent reading.
The actual application of intelligent reading is not so easy as it sounds, it's a lot of work. Any anon wants to share some experiences?

I was actually thinking about this book yesterday. I'm going through Schopenhauer, and I realized that I am not paying close enough attention to what is being said - I will not remember these words for as long as I should. I'm interested in other anon's experiences if it indeed helped them. Is it a meme?

Come on guys, this book is brought up every day, really no one has anything to say about it's actual value as a dead teacher?
