>"you're an english major? what are you gonna be a teacher?"
is there actually any bearable job for an english major?
>have no intention of teaching
>tell people it's a possibility
feels good
Yes, Lieutenant Colonel

I do the same

I have a BA in English. Got a job in digital marketing. It's pretty comfy. The old "it's not what you know, it's who you know" applies. Bottom line is don't let people talk you out of studying English simply because the job yield is low. If you're smart and not completely socially awkward, you can get a job.

but what if you are completely socially awkward?

>you're a philosophy major, eh?...
That's where my conversation ends.
>thinkin about law school, maybe. Who knows though, really?
>>9867012
>and not completely socially awkward
That's it, I'm gonna hang myself.
Yes actually, just interviewed for my first job today.

>he comes from working class background
>goes into humanities anyway like a faggot
There's your problem, now go study something like Engineering or Finance and pray to be reborn in the leisure class.
tell them you're going to law school, got i hate these FOBs that think they can make more money than an attorney with some shitty STEM degree

There's no leisure class in STEM fields. You're expected to work your ass off for other people's financial gain. Being an engineer sucks, I fucking hate it.
I don't know where you heard that from. I didn't attend university and have found difficulty finding meaningful employment

there's nothing to stop you from starting a business, the guy who started Koch Industries had a Phd in Chemical Engineering from MIT, sure he could have got a wagecuck job at DuPont or something, and made his like 100k and died anonymously. Instead he build the largest privately held company in the United States and his sons (also MIT Phds) went on to fund a variety of conservative causes pushing American political economy to the right for generations.
I want to get my degree and then become an officer in the National Guard.
