I have an instagram account for books, a so called "boostagram" account, it's helpful for finding tangentially related books, authors and other people reading the same things I'm reading. Sometimes I find great small succint reviews, but most of the time it's an endless stream of tired and banal YAshit with the types of pictures in that article.

There is another niche side to it. The Pseuds. Stemming off of places like /lit/ and reddit, these splinter well read retards are an amalgamation of the worst of these two shitholes. They have the aggression and vitriol fueled elitism of /lit/, but hide it under the passive aggressiveness and fakeness of reddit. An boy let me tell you, it is the biggest circlejerk I've ever seen. Bigger than /lit/. They cream themselves over first editions, to the point of fetishism. They go on and on about the condition and the journey they went through to fin an affordable copy online, but then the next post will argue about that new copy of their favorite obscure writer that cost a fortune but it was worth it because it's so good and obscure and they are on a mission to bring forth great literature to the unlearned masses!! It sounds like I'm exaggerating but I'm not, I watch it happen because it's fascinating. Their posts range from super "witty" sarcasm and selfdepricating hate for buying more and more first editions. Their exchanges with each other is really something to study.
