This is the type of thinking that leads accountants to open businesses without a long term marketing strategy. You can potentially make a million dollars from a bland idea if you hit the market with it at the right moment and you have some contacts. But you may derive more value over time from making good products because the million dollars you earn will be coupled with social values your ego is desperately in need of. Either way, you'll still make a million dollars writing no matter what.
