F is for lay off the Vino Orson.
Joyce
- extremely visual orientation, camera-like perspectives
- heavy incorporation of music
- modernist emphasis on irony, self-consciousness, technique,
- undisputed master of his medium
- philosemite

pleb
kubrick is the new yorker of directors - pure middlebrow with pop culture appeal. dont be too proud of yourselves for enjoying "high art", it's not
>>9841741
most writers do that
Hemingway wrote novels, short stories, a memoir, a couple non fiction books, a play and poetry
he probably should have just stuck to short stories though to be desu
I always thought of Kubrick as the Shakespeare of film.

Idiot. He's right, Orson was far more talented than Kubrick. Orson's films weren't sterile, whereas Kubrick's films are like a squeaky clean room with very little risk taking. Not to say he didn't have his cinematic moments but he would never have tried the fun house scene in The Lady From Shanghai.

only yuros think these, he's objectively above the others in consideration as much as Shakespeare, the only thing he doesn't have is the width of his work. 2001 will live forever as a masterpiece of the mystery religion.
