I'm writing a book where the good guys experience a story similar to what the Germans experienced in the 20th century, but I'm just leaving out the taboo stuff like the holocaust so that there's plenty of sympathy without anybody being like "who cares they're evil." Only 553 words so far, though.

You have a long fucking ways to go, but I think it'll be interesting to see Hitler in a semi-positive light. He did absolutely horrendous things, and had some disgusting views, that's obvious, but he did do a lot of good for straight, Christian, Caucasian German citizens. Well, until they started to get bombed by countries they were at war with, but I'm pretty sure Germany bombed England first before England started doing it back.
