Is there any good philosophy on bettering one's practical self and communicating better with others? I feel like I've spent so long cultivating engaging but ultimately esoteric and impractical knowledge, and that it's finally time to get into any possible works for going about the day and impacting the world around you.
I'm thinking of starting with the Meditations, are there any recommended prereqs for it? Also how inseparable is it from stoic philosophy?

do you even know what philosophy is?
if you want advice go to /adv/ or the self-help section. your pathetic life has nothing to do with philosophy.

Just listen to Peterson.

I already do. The major theme he has on improvement is to systematically complete necessary tasks and wait for the world to change for the better as a result. He's an incredibly smart guy, but I'm wondering more about how the individual behaves in a way that makes others and the collective society understand what he's trying to articulate so that the "sorting" can actually happen.

I pretty obviously wasn't asking for advice on my own personal life. You should go to /adv/ and ask them where the shift key is.

I'm pretty sure he has a reading list. Check his website and do his authoring thing.
